I haven't been to the cinema to see a Hollyweird movie in about 20 years. This review explains why. There are very few good script writers. Their politics always gets in the way of story telling and they make movies for themselves, rather than the audience. The film "Civil War" is such a complete waste of time that I felt compelled to post a warning here for comrades on a tight budget.
The film will not go down in the annals of cinematic history as anything because it's....
1. Absurdly Unlikely
2. Pointless/Aimless
3. Depressing/Tedious
4. Vacant/Vapid
5. Half-baked/Weak
6. Ambiguous/Incoherent
7. Bullshit melodrama
8. Full of nothing but flat, 2-dimensional characters
Synopsis:
A grim quartet of lifeless paparazzi/journalists drive a roundabout route to D.C. to photograph the imminent victory of the California+Texas secessionists over the Washington establishment. None of them like each other much and two of them are obsessed with getting perfect shots of atrocious things.
WARNING: YOU CANNOT EVER GET BACK THE TIME YOU WASTE TRYING TO GAG DOWN THIS CLUMP OF DEHYDRATED CINEMATIC ASPARAGUS!
You're welcome!
